The show raised over £600 and a cheque was presented to The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust. The presentation is pictured below (full parental permission for photo was granted).
Staged in February 2007, this production was in aid of the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust
for Children and Donkeys. The charity brings enjoyment and pleasure into the lives
of children with special needs and disabilities and gives them the satisfaction that
comes with the achievement of learning riding skills.
The show was`enjoyed by capacity audiences who were treated to music, mirth and mayhem
at Pootlin's Holiday Camp. The production, which was set in 1953, included music
of the era and an original script. The highlight of the evening was the "Talent Show"
which proved that a little enthusiasm will take you a long way! None of this would
have been possible without the support of local businesses, groups and individuals.
The following pictures were taken by people attending the second night.
